The artistic impression of the geese, what speed did you shoot that at? 2 seconds?

    Really Cool RiverEyes!
Any chance you would be interested in emailing me a few of your favorites for some screen saver pics here at work or at home? They are remarkable!

    Hi Guys…
thanks as always for the comments….
    I see some questions I didnt answer…. naughty, naughty….
    ok…
shudder speed on the goose shot… if you want sharp stop action wildlife shots in general you go for 1/250 or faster… flying birds usually faster because most likely the wing tips are blurred at 1/250… if you want slower blurred shots… for flying birds depending on the speed you want somewhere around 1/3 to 1/10 normally.. that shot was 1/4 of a second….
I do have a gallery and I do sell my stuff.. but not through the gallery (yet)…. so I feel I can post my gallery link since its not commercial…..

the Camera Im using is a digital SLR.. a Canon 20D with a small compliment of lenses that give me some flexibility….
    including the
    24-70 f2.8 L canon
    100mm f2.8 macro
    500mm f4 L IS
    50-500 F5.6-6.3 Sigma
a shot in the fog at the lake near my house the other day…
