If a rookie qb can lay 28 on the Vike’s I shudder to think what kind of game Favre is going to have. Pack have won their last two games at Humpey dome. If there are some indictments to be handed down on the Tice-tanic event the Purple may be lucky to field a team. Guys, these two franchises are headed in totally different directions. If the Vike’s get down early you can expect them to stay there.

Vikes are terrible, but the pack is too. They’re both headed for the #1 overall draft pick next year.

Actually, if the Pack wins next Sunday they will probably make the playoffs, despite missing six all-pros from last year. If they loss I agree and then I guess Detroit represents the North Division.

Any of you Minnesota guys remember Bud Grant; a class act the Vikings really miss.

keep in mind, of the 3 games the vikes have lost, they have got crushed. Now look at the packers, they are giving these teams a game. They have been loosing by 1,2,3, maybe 5 points…anybody watch the bear/viking game?

Pack lost to the lions by 14, the browns are sorry and the two other losses were against two average teams that keep beating teams with losing records. I will say I would not want the to face the rest of the schedual the Pack has to face.

the Pack lost the three previous games before the N.O. win by a combined 6 points. Cleveland is 2-3, Tampa is 5-1 and Carolina is 4-2. Ahem, New Orleans pasted Carolina the first game of the year. This one is going to be close. The only teams with qb’s are the Pack and Vikes. I will take Favre over “Dainty Fumblefingers” any day.

According to Mike Tice, playing the Packers this week is just what the Vikings need. If they can’t get up for this team, then they really have some problems.

Come on Vikes, just this weekend and on the 21st of next month.

(If I was betting though I’d take the Pack and give up the points, because my team totally sucks this year! )

Like I’ve always said “as long as Favre is in the game the other team has a shot at winning.” ….even Culpepper and the Vikes.
Let’s face it guys, both quarterbacks and their respective teams suck a$$.

That being said I hope if the vikes only win two more games this whole season they are both against the Pack.

    both quarterbacks suck?

    passer rating:

Favre #7 with an 87.60 rating

    Culpepper #12 62.80 rating

    TDs: Favre 12

    Culpepper 4

    Interceptions: Favre 8

    Culpepper 12

one of those quarterbacks suck. Guess who?

Even as a Packer fan, I gotta agree, the Pack doesn’t look as bad as the queens do. Albiet neither team will be playing much into next year, I would put my money on the Packers if I were a betting man.

I am from MN and I guess the vikes are my team but they do not deserve to win another game. Our team does not want to play let alone win. I think Daintie’s physical ability is much higher than Farv’s but he lacks the ability to lead and has NO heart whatsoever. If EVERYTHING does not go his way he melts down. It looks like the vikings grand offensive
line has grown tired of protecting a QB that cna’t lead.
Until they show some desire they should just stay out of the Gophers way. That team is playing hard!

    From todays StarTribune:

“Defensive end Lance Johnstone and safeties Ken Irvin and Willie Offord refused to comment on whether they were on the boat.

Others on the list who previously declined to comment are quarterback Daunte Culpepper, offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie, cornerback Fred Smoot, defensive tackle Kevin Williams, tight end Jermaine Wiggins, running back Moe Williams, wide receivers Nate Burleson, Troy Williamson, Travis Taylor and Koren Robinson, cornerback Ralph Brown and safety Darren Sharper. Running back Mewelde Moore confirmed he was on the cruise but said that he didn’t see any sexual activity.
