SOMEONE posted something about Culpepper being the pro bowl qb?? From what I’ve seen the last two weeks I will be happy to see my Packers finish 3rd in the Div. Because I KNOW who will be in the cellar.
This is the type of play that should allow teams to reduce player salaries.

holy moses, smell the roses. i’ve got too many packer fans over here, salivating like Pavlov’s dog after the game. Not that this team is anything to brag about….

Da Bears looked good today. Could 8-8 win the North?

The only consolation I have as a Packer fan, and the fact that they stink is that the smell wafting across the Mississippi is quite a bit stronger than the one coming out of Green Bay. I believe that the two teams should consolidate, like they do in highschool ball when the teams are too small. The only problem with that is which of the two mental midgets would be the coach. After Sherman’s call for a field goal inside the twenty, down by 12 with 5 minutes left, he would not be my first choice. GEEZ, GROW A PAIR!!!!!!!!!!! As far as Tice is concerned, just watching their games speaks for itself. This is going to be a long season for both sides of the river.

Absolutely regarding 8-8. I am still putting my $$$ on the Pack although there is clearly nothing to brag about on the Wisconsin end.

I don’t understand why Culpepper is having so much trouble. Big guy, strong arm, can run, what the heck is happening in Minnesota.

He has small hands and a smaller brain. NOW he must consider more than “hand off” and “throw it to moss”

I think its more about the different defences he is seeing, no more double coverage on moss. No deep threat and a sub par running game= shut your eyes and throw the ball or get creamed.
What I want to know is WHAT happened to the great defence that we were suppose to have?

The simple answer is he(DC) has to read more pass coverage defenses than when Randy was on the field, even when taking his times out, (which is what all kids get when behavior is a problem) used to take 2-3 defenders to task! Now no Vike receivers call for double coverage let alone triple coverage!

The Vikings offense was built around Moss. Tice is using the same offense. Brad Johnson said in an interview that nothing has changed since he was traded to Washington. I will try to call Tice tomorrow and let him know that Moss is no longer on the team.

Luckily they are only one game out of 1st. SOMEONE has to win the division.

Tice needs to be fired now. Why spend millions on new players and have a moron for a coach?

I think things are salvagable, but there needs to be some change…..Ricky Williams and Brad Johnson anyone?

Man they are pathetic. I was listening to an analyst last night who I think hit the nail on the head about Culpepper. He was saying that in all the years Dante has been playing hes always had Moss. During that time opposing defenses have really only thrown one or two typical defensive coverage schemes at him due to the Moss factor. Now with Moss gone teams are throwing all kinds of stuff at him and he has no idea what to do out there or how to deal with it. Its like starting all over with a rookie QB.

Good job on the $8 million raise Vikes!!

So in the 5+ games Moss missed last year, opposing D-Coordinators didn’t change their game plans????

There is more to Daunte’s sturggles than just the loss of Moss. Loss of his O-Coordinator and QB coach, no run game, bad line, and now he has lost all confidence also are playing a big part.

I know that Red would not put out the $ for a Offensive Coordinator, so they put the O line coach as the new coordinator and doubles as the O line coach,,,and there is no one up in the booth to let them know what the D is doing..How can you make adjustments with no one up in the boot talking to the O line coach who is the O coordinator?

This sounds just like the Bengals of yester year…tried to do it on a restrictive budget and it didn’t work…Look at the bengals now!! Over the past three years they have drastically improved!!!

On a radio interview with Brad Johnson, he said that the organization has not changed at all since he was here before,,,,every thing is the same
Ever notice that the QB is the one to take all the credit when the team is doing well, and he takes all the blame when the team is loosing?

Not for the Pack. Remember they started 1-4 last year and finished the season 9-2.
