Taking the kid youth waterfowling tomorrow anyone know how the navigation will be near Minnesota City backwaters ? (Verchota landing) and how is the landind itself? Any feedback would be great, any ducks around? 
Landing is fine and water level is decent……I had no problems getting around earlier this week (with the regular motor).

Nope,
Jake was out last week and rounded them all up, so he can go out on the opener and knock them all down and send us pics on how great the hunting was. watch for the strings on the legs when the pics come out….

I take it you have been out scouting, lets try and get together later in the season, and see if I can keep up with ya. just pm me when it gets a little farther, I may have a secret spot or two I can take you, but I would have to blindfold you or at least put a motorcycle helmet on you.

Yeah, I’ve been out looking around a bit. I’m taking a buddy and his kid out tomorrow for the youth hunt also. There should be PLENTY of ducks to go around…..a lot more teal around than at this time last year……even a few big ducks
