Is there any kind of a day bite going on, or is everyone pulling cranks at night? I was over there last Friday during the day and did ok bobber fishing off of big point in about nine feet. Any info would be appreciated.

    Welcome to the site.

Check out the Mille Lacs Lake Forum here on IDA. Scoll down to the “Minnesota” section click on that and then click on Mille Lacs Lake.

    Or Click Here

There will be a few of us targeting the night bite this weekend.

Kinda sounds like you have a program already!
If its windy that is what you should do, other wise you could try casting cranks shallow if the wind is up. Otherwise there is a good perch bite right now!!!!!
Good Luck let us know how you did!

    Welcome aboard JRJ !

I haven’t been up there myself, but Ranger hit it on the head. Good day bite if wind is blowing. Wouldn’t count out the Northern sand either. Jon J was kind of modest when he said a few of us would be cranking at night this weekend. Unless you call about 20 or more of us a few !

Good luck, feel free to post your results and WELCOME
