We hung a empty keg from the school flag pole.

What was your senior prank?

We did not have a prank, we were angels. However, I heard the juniors put Fox Urine in the principal’s garbage can. Again, I heard this!!!!
September 13, 2005 at 3:08 pm #383684I absolutely deny all directly involvement, but the following events happened my senior year at Eden Prairie:
Chemically burned a giant EP in the middle of Minnetonka’s football field
Painted their cheesy 10′ white Anchor (the tonka “Skippers” lol morons!) statue in front of their school red and black -our school colors
Their clever revenge was to paint “Eden Prarie Sucks” in white and blue on the outside wall of our school, note the misspelling of “Prarie”, truly a classic bonehead move
We had a closed campus (meaning you could not leave school grounds for during the school day) and at the end of the only exit to the parking lot there was a small guard house. During the last week of the year it was burned to the ground
Taping the principals kid upside down to a pole with duct tape, mummifying from head to toe
Hiding old Mr Ryski’s chalk (had to be there, funnier every day). The chalk in the eraser trick was always good for a laugh too. He got really pissed when we hid his movies-since that was his only “lesson plan” 1/3 of the days.
September 13, 2005 at 3:11 pm #383687Like Kooty, we were angels. They threatened to make us do our senior year over if anything happened and like stupid seniors, we believed them.
In the end, they were probably darned glad to be rid of us.
Well, the rest of em anyways.September 13, 2005 at 3:31 pm #383696I don’t know if it was such a prank, but a buddy of mine and I tried to skip out of school for 100 days straight our senior year. I got caught on about my 20th day sitting behind the hockey boards having a smoke, but he made it until day 98 before getting busted in a homeroom check.
Back in the day we had modular scheduling and with our antics put an end to that for future classes. God I loved Thursdays, class the first 40 minutes of the day and IS(independant study hall) the rest of the day. We spent alot of time at the bowling alley and the pool hall back in those days when skipping out.
It was a kinder gentler world then, where guns were used for hunting and Knives were used for filleting fish!!!September 13, 2005 at 3:47 pm #383699After football practice, we picked up some sophemores Geo Metro and set it between two trees. I still don’t know how he got it out but it was gone the next day.
September 13, 2005 at 3:52 pm #383703Hooks, Great story.. Is that when the school counselor suggested a career in guiding?
September 13, 2005 at 4:05 pm #383705Black stamp pad ink on the principles phone earpiece, then waited until he was in office and called number. This has also worked many times in life, so I must have learned something in High School afterall!
September 13, 2005 at 5:02 pm #383728Well, I was a angel in school (not anymore thou ) and got good grades and all that I got to skip my senior year (course I still had to wait til June to get my dipolma) so I missed out on all that stuff.
September 13, 2005 at 5:29 pm #383736I wasn’t directly involved in this, but my senior year, some of the jr’s and sr’s decided to have a huge “party.” Flyers were made up and passed around the school. Every student knew that it was fake, but it definately got the teachers and administration worried. There was one teacher that knew it was a joke so he always let us in on what the other teachers were doing regarding trying to figure out when and where the party was. Everyday, the teachers had a new idea of the time and place…and everyday all we could do was laugh because there was no time or place.
Its not the greatest prank, but it got all the teachers and administrators worked up for a while and we all got a good laugh.
September 13, 2005 at 5:39 pm #383739We were on a mission to hang a pirates flag on the front school flag pole, buddy lost his grip and slid down the pole, caught his boys on that hook that you tie the rope too, long storie short, he does have two great kids. but I laughed at him every one of the 30 days of detention we had together.

September 13, 2005 at 5:40 pm #383741I think we pulled off the only senior skip day that wasn’t caught ahead of time. We had a senior classmate working down in the attendance office, so everything was cool. Everybody did there own thing for the most part, but 80% of the seniors didn’t show.
Administration flipped out, they were calling anyone and everyone looking for students, they had cops looking for everyone….We were out on the River ….
They tried to give us all detention, but schools have NO authority over you when your parents call you in . REMEMBER THAT KIDS…SCHOOLS don’t have authority over your PARENTS!!!
I came back for track practice though
September 13, 2005 at 6:05 pm #383748Yes, the janitors Dick and Matt didnt get it down until after homeroom..

I hear ya! Now, here I sit cleaning fish with my gun…
When the statute of limitations runs out, and my buddy is out of the “Witness Relocation Program” I’ll let you all in on it.
September 13, 2005 at 6:23 pm #383751Actually Derek,
I was told that I just didn’t apply myself to school work. And that came from quite a few teachers…….principles……….counselors………..
Everyone but our Gymnastics coach! He quite honestly kept us all in line and in school!
September 13, 2005 at 6:36 pm #383756I was told the same.. My teachers laughed at me when I told them I want to attend Dunwoody. I was the one laughing in the end..
September 13, 2005 at 7:06 pm #383763our plan was foiled by the rent-a-cop someone ratted us out for sure
any way we “aquired” a sheep from SSP and spray painted 96 on the sides of him in blue and green (eagan colors) and stuck him in my hockey bag, we were coming in the back entrance to let it run in the hall ways and the rent-a-cop was standing there waiting for us
oh well we got out of there with out getting in trouble with the real law
It would have been a great prank though.
John SchultzInactivePortage, WIPosts: 3309September 13, 2005 at 7:32 pm #383772We released 5 200 pound pigs in the hallway. Ever watch pigs try to run around corners on a tile floor? Only thing funnier was watching the janitors and teachers chasing them down the hall. Since it was two days before graduation, and they could only prove who owned the pigs, not who released them, nobody got in trouble.
September 13, 2005 at 7:52 pm #383780Slop that kinda sounds like our senior skip day. We had all our boats at the lake lot we were at, so when we heard the principal was coming out to bust us, we just rounded up all the beer and put everyone in the boats and laughed at them in the middle of the lake. As soon as they left we went back and finished the job.
September 13, 2005 at 7:54 pm #383783Have velcro gloves, will travel!!
There was a cow released in the school one time when I was in grade school. I also remember chickens being released in the school quite often.
I also remember someone catching an antelope one time and releasing it on main street. It had a huge target painted on the side of it.
Poor animals!!
September 13, 2005 at 10:02 pm #383816During a Basketball game vs. our rival (that was State Champ the year before). They had a big 12’x12′ sign in front of their school that said IHSA BOY’S STATE BASKETBALL CHAMPS. At half time our team was down by 10. So during half time of the game we went and removed the sign. Then procided to walk that big sign into our gym. We got boo’s from half the crowd and cheers from the other. Our team ended up coming back and winning by 15 points. If I remember correct we were forced to take it back to their school. But it was great

September 13, 2005 at 10:07 pm #383820not that i was involved in the planning on this, but when you run the school store, in a matter of two days you can get 3/4 of the senior class interested enough in toilet papering the school, the football field, the elementary school and several administators’ houses in a time period of 45 minutes.
September 13, 2005 at 10:30 pm #383826Our senior skip day went soooo poorly, that most of us did it again another day. Half the class didn’t skip the first day, but a bunch of us managed to have two decent keg parties with some fishing and boating mixed in TWICE!
