Had a major problem with my 18 hp evinrude this weekend. Can anyone recommend a shop locally where I might be able to purchase parts for this old dog. I am fairly new to the area and don’t have any contacts here yet. Any help would be appeciated. Thanks P.S. I live in Savage.
Have you tried Twin City Outboard (http://www.twincityoutboard.com/)? They are located near Valley Fair. They have lots of outboard parts.
What type of parts do you need and what year is the motor.
The reason I ask is if you can’t find part I can literally guarantee I can find them for you. I restore/repair older outboards, and when it comes to motors Evinrude and Johnson are among the kindest around to find parts for.
