Was just curious if your fishing time has been reduced over the last couple of months, or if the increase in prices has not changed your time on the water decisions ?? For myself, I have cut down on longer trips but try to get out on more local waters as often as I did last year. Jack..

I have been staying close to home. Not as many big trips this year.

I have to admit recently I’m not going as far as I normally would to fish. I’ve also tried to stay closer to home. In fact I’ve been looking at a lot of lakes that are in the area instead of heading to the Mississippi.

The time on the water for me is priceless, it has not cut into my fishing time at all, just a little cut into the pocket book . I have just found myself cutting costs in other places to come up with some extra cash. I don’t eat out anymore, which saves a lot of money if you think about it, I don’t stop for coffee, I make it at home, just little things like this make up for a lot of extra cash when you break it down. I am a very anal person when it comes to finance, I am always looking for a way to save a few extra bucks, at the end of the day it all goes back into the boat and truck anyway If your looking for some extra money, just give Gary a call and do a home equity line of credit

Fishing closer to home. I am learning the ways of the Rum River.
