Thanks for the diagrams….I found the converter thing and pounded on it with the back of a hammer…I didnt hear anything rattling, but wasn’t sure how hard to hit it?? Didn’t want to make things worse than they already are.
nother way to check it would be let the car Idle.then put your hand behind the exaust pipe. Make sure there is exaust coming out.

I had the converter problem however I still had exhaust flowing out normally. I would suggest finding a trusted mechanic before wasting money that is not neccessary.
