You may want to consider chaining your dog to the motor next time! I’m sorry to hear about this. There are few lower forms of life than a thief.

I agree Brian. It sucks that people have to worry about what you leave out in your own yard.

Sure hope you find them crappiechaser. And I hope they get the butt kick’n they probably should have gott’n along time ago to straighten there out.

Amen Bret. I had my boat sitting outside the garage last weekend while I was doing the “spring” cleaning. I was tired on Friday night and almost left it sit outside, but for the very reasons mentioned above. I put it away. Flippin’ thiefs, hang’em by the short hairs!!

I know it doesn’t help your case but four of these scum got caught recently stealing stuff off boats on the Rum River in the Ramsey area.

Curiously, do you keep a motor lock on your outboards? I’m interested to know if they’re effective prevention or not.

Last week I went camping. Stoped and put $70.00 worth of gas in the boat, unloaded it at the lake, went back to camp got up the next morning and bam 1/4 tank of gas. That takes a person with some real big ones.

I had a motor stolen off my boat a few years back, I put an add in the paper to sell it and the next morning i looked out and the 25 horse johnson tiller was gone. I figured out that motor thiefs read the newspaper and call you to find out where the motor and boat is because they want to take a look at it. They then drive by and check it out then at night they steal it. These thiefs are the lowest of the lowest. If you ever advertise your boat and motor take it off the boat and keep it locked up until someone serious wants the see it run befor they buy it. Locks minus a stick of dynamite don’t work

Nope. These people are snivelling cowards if you ask me. If they had a set, they would try it while I was watching

Isn’t $70.00 worth of gas about a 1/4 tank nowadays?
