Straight Line Winds – Tornado???

    Just got home work to see that a tornado- straght line winds have came through our area ( Northern MN ) many trees down by the lake what a mess

    If they’re all laying the same direction, it’s from straightline winds. If they show signs of twisting and laying in no specific pattern, I’d say it’s the handiwork of a spiraling vortex.

    Any damage to buildings/homes? A friend of mine has a cabin on Moose Lake…………

    Mille Lacs got hit hard Tue. morning at about 5am. Boats and lifts swamped/flipped, trees down everywhere! I spent half the day cleaning up the frontage road N of Myr Mar at cousins cabin. If I knew how to post the pics I would??? For some reason I haven’t been able to figure out how to post pics, rocket science?

    That looks like a textbook straight line wind there. Too bad! Those trees are going to be missed.
