working too much OT!!! I do have a question. Is there going to be a Fall golf outing “GTG”? I know briank is polishing his clubs as we speak…

Question-Don’t think for one minute that I watch any of this stuff, but why do the anouncers of golf events whisper when they are most likely in booth or far away from what happening on the course?
And don’t think for one minute that I watch any of this stuff.
This is me when my ball goes farther than that big clod of dirt…. I think the reason the announcers whisper is their wives don’t know what they’re doing in those blasted tents…kinda like those armchair quarterbacks, they play a great game without ever getting their hair messed up, etc,… 
Almost missed this chance to bash golf! 
Herb, I’m notup on my spanish….but doesn’t Los Ojos mean “The Eye’s” in spanish….or am I getting it confused with “The Balls”? Again, I’m not to good in spanish…
Just don’t understand this “game” for rich, elitest, They go out there with their nose up in the air…whack an ball…then chase it. Once they find it…THEY HIT IT AGAIN! Mindless! It would make more sense if once they found it…they were declared the winner.
Just think about all the land we could use for low income housing if we leveled out all the golf courses…make use of that land for everyones good…cut down on ferterlizers that choke our rivers too.
Everything wrong in this world can be linked back to golf.

Instead of a golf outing…I dunno, maybe a FISHING gtg? How about a fishing “rodeo” pick a weekend…Noon Sat to Noon Sunday….largest total bag limit (weight) all species included.
Some of us don’t golf, won’t golf, can’t golf…I will drive the cart for beer though.
Personally I think we SHOULD have an IDA GOLF GTG….say the October full moon…

with what I thought was a friendly jab about you and the game of golf…I was not aware that you were so dead against it!!!
Having said that, I’m just a regular guy who works in a factory and operates a machine for money to support his family – hardly “elitist” by my definition of the “upper crusty one’s “.
Anyway, please accept my apology.
