I picked up my new Alumacraft from LaCannes Marine today. The boat was in the water shortly after this pic was taken for some break-in time. The 140 Johnson 4 stroke is so sweet, what a smooth running motor! The new boat handles real well also……

Now it’s time to start drilling holes and rigging the boat. Should have it ready for fishing next weekend!

    Thanks again Destry

I need to look into that…….not sure right now. I do have a MinKota AP 70# bowmount to put on it. I rig fish most of the time, so the kicker for trolling can wait. I might have to fish in Hooks tiller this fall pulling cranks….

Very nice boat! You should be riding in style for many years to come.

It will have some In-Depthangling stickers on it soon. Give a wave if you see me on the water!

Congrats on the new ride Bob. You’re gonna love it. I got my Tournament Sport 175 with the Johnson 140 this spring and I love it. I think you’ll really like the Johnson. That thing is so quiet, the first time I had it out I actually had to look back and see if it was running when I was idling. Good choice with LaCannes as well, those guys are the best.

Good call Ron, I’ll have to plant another GPS chip like the one I have hidden in one of his poles on his Green Otter Fishtrap.

    Nice Rig Bobber…

I got to go for a cruise in the new boat Saturday evening. Wow is it a nice ride!!!! I can’t believe how quiet the 4-stroke Johnson is. There were a couple times when I couldn’t even hear it running. Nice boat Bob!!

    Bobber,
Either you were at ace of LaCrosse Wisconsin today or i saw a boat that was exactly the same as yours…Same exact boat with a 140 johnson on it…I doubt it was you since you live way up that way but i wasnt sure where you lived at the time..

SWEET!!!! for a tin boat. Seriously, Lund makes one of the best riding tin boats around. Have owned many of them and may own one again because of gas prices (downsizing???). Nice looking boat.

Bob, if there isn’t room in the garage for that big beauty, You can always park it where the Wad has left a vacancy at the lot.

Nothing makes a guy feel better about his new ALUMACRAFT than to talk up your old Lund’s!

I have mine charged and ready.
No beer needed as long as I can install my tracking unit
