??? On 24 Volt Hook Up??

    I got a new troller today, I currently have a 12 volt with 2 batteries. They are factory prerigged and I hook both batteries to the proper terminals. How am I supposed to tie the batteries togehter with my new 24 volt?

    Hey Joe,

    To hook up your 24V, you need to first connect the two existing batteries together. Start out with no connections on either terminal of either battery. Next, connect the positive of one battery to the negative of the other. This basically will give you with a 24V battery. There will be one negative terminal open on the first battery to connect to the TM and one positive terminal open on the second battery to connect to the TM. Let me know how it goes. Good luck!

    A lot of boats now have 4 wires running to the bow. If that is the case, the cross-over is in the plug.

    THanks guys, I think my boat is set up like Jon stated. I will have to see exactely what I have.
