It is with a very heavy heart that I am typing this.
Mike Lee(Crossin Eyes here on IDA)and his wife Rachel lost their unborn child last Thursday. There were complications with the pregnancy, they were only a few weeks away from being able to deliver him early.
Please keep the Lee family in your prayers.
This is something Heidi(Walleye-brat) wrote and I thought I would share it with all of you.
Little Nathan said goodbye
this morning, July 7
his journey here on earth was through
he’s gone to brighten heaven
Anyone can make a baby
but it takes a special pair
to make a precious angel
and let him go live there.
This angel touched your hearts
For only just a while
To teach you what it means to love
And show you how to smile
He couldn’t stay for very long
For God would call him home
But he left behind his memory
To carry as you roam
It’s hard to understand just why
God wouldn’t let him stay
You had so many plans for him
and lots of games to play.
But now there are only tears to shed
And questions left for later
but don’t forget, this is not goodbye
but simply “see you later”
For one day the skies will open
God’s hands will gently unfold
and in them Nathan will await
for you to finally hold
So until that day, hold on mom and dad
Keep his memory bright and strong
For the time will come you’ll hold him tight
and rock him to sleep with song.
