I received this on an email from a fishing buddy. He has no history on this picture, there is no caption stating where this happened. Has anyone seen this picture before? Is it real?

I have the pic stored in my C drive and I hit the Browse button and highlighted that file? Can someone PM me on how I might fix this. My apologies on the incomplete post.

Yes, it is one northern, quite large and almost unnatural looking, chewing on another hooked to someone fishing line.

I know the picture you speak of. Yes, it looks real. I think it has been posted on here a few days ago.

Real or not it is a cool pic! You can actually see where the smaller one is chewed just above the big ones mouth like the big one grabbed it did one head shake.

I’m a computer idiot. Thank god 90% of using these things is point and click. If anyone knows how to compress a file under the allowed amount please let me know. If you’d like to see the pic now, send me a PM with your email address and I’ll send it via an attachment to an email, as it is now.

My buddy had it happen to him 2 years ago on LOTW Big Narrows. We were walleye fishing a 20′ reef. Had a solid 50″ ski eat his 14″ walleye. We tried three different times to boat the fish, for it wouldn’t give up the walleye. Unfortunately, we only had a walleye net with us and couldn’t get it in there.

The ski ate the walleye whole, in that she had her jaws clamped shut on the walleye, with the walleye completely in her mouth. The first 2 times the fish came to the surface, we didn’t even know she had the walleye in her mouth. It was her third surface, where she spit out the walleye, that we knew she even had it.

    Talk about tense moments!!!!

I have a number of old photos from Canada with walleye crossways in a pike’s mouth.

I don’t think it is legal to use a 4 pound pike as bait…
