New Cabela’s??????

    My Son was in Scheels today. A guy noticed he was from Tiffin, IA and said that Cabela’s plans to put a store at the Tiffin exit of I-80. Could be just a rumor, but would be nice for us Iowa guys.

    is it good hunting or fishing land?
    they have bought area around Des Moines and every one starts getting excited, but it emds just being ground for guiding. Basically I’ll believe it when I see it. Hope so though I don’t give enough of my money to sporting stores

    I hope not. That’ll just start adding 7 percent to everything I order from them. Starts to add up after a while!

    I hate to spread rumors, but I have heard from a pretty reliable source that Cabela’s is looking at putting a store in the Eau Claire/Chippewa Falls area for 2006, around the new interchance of Hwy 53/29. Hopefully they will follow through.

    My mom and her side of the family are from Chippewa so I know the area well even though i have lived in Iowa my whole life. I think the Eua Claire/Chippewa Falls area would be a great location for a Cabelas.

    I also hate to spread rumors but…..I heard the new store would have a 50 ft brass head sculpture of James rather than the usual deer
