Outdoor Hazards

In early July of this year my wife and I went for a bike ride on the path by Hy-Vee north in Rochester. We stopped to walk down to Zumbro River’s edge through some brush. The next day Jeanne noticed a bulls eye bite on her leg – it was Lymes disease.

If you go to this website http://www.lyme.org then click on Enter,
Picture Gallery, Rashes, and then click on the last picture. That is what the bite looks like when you first get it “A Small Developing EM Rash”.

This disease can be fatal and mess with every organ in your body. The longer you go without treatment the worst the recovery. Jeanne went through 21 days of massive antibiotics and still has problems from the bite.

Be careful out there – it can happen to you!
