Got back from Mississippi gulf coast last night. Went down for my Daughters HS Grad. Took my oldest son out fishing in the Gulf of Mexico on a charter boat. We got 6 Awsome Redfish. Averaged 40″. Biggest redfish my son had ever caught. He had a blast. hope the pics to follow work.

Just booked our flight for the Keys for November. Been down there a couple of times, but this is the first time we’re bringing the kids. I can’t wait to see my son’s face when he catches his first ocean fish!

Steve, where are you going in the Keys? I’ve booked the same guide twice with awesome results. We fished the ‘Glades last Feb and the flats on the Atlantic side two years prior…

I would recommend Cpt Mike to anyone without hesatation!

FAHC…those reds look like some drag screamers!! That will give the kid something to talk about when school starts again!

Hey FAHC, how did you transport them home?

Just wondering. It’s always a hassle for me, so we release them…although once in a while I pack them into a cooler with ice and overnight them home.
