Hopefully heading to Pool 4 on Saturday and looking for a little help. What weight do people use for your drop weight on your 3-ways? I think I may be too light at only an ounce. And second, while not asking to give your locations away, when you fish sandy areas, can you give me an idea of where that may be in general? Are you down as far as Upper Pepin (i.e. maiden rock, point-no-point, etc.)?

I am set up to fish lead core, long line, jig or run 3-ways. Any advice and/or help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Terry

Hey Terry. When 3-waying, I mainly use 1.5oz weights. I am usually fishing in 10-15 feet of water, and with the summer low flows, that seems to work the best. I might go to an ounce for really shallow water or 2-2.5oz for deeper water, but mainly I use 1.5oz. Hope this helps, and good luck Saturday. Thanks

    Tony
