If you are up and its clear where you are, bundle up and head outside and look to the northern horizon. Its nuts.

Thought they might be some type of ice cloud instead of auroras, but I checked on the space weather website, and due to solar activity, we are forecast to have auroras this morning.

They are clear as a bell and easy to see here in east-central Iowa.

I saw them when I was drivign home last night, but wasn’t sure if it was the northern lights or not. Thought it was, and now I know. It was pretty neat to see, since it was the first time I’d ever seen them.

Frankly, I do not think the sun is EVER going to come out again up here in MN, but thanks for the tip.
