Better off to run separate line all the way to the tank. The Fisherman has an extra port at top of tank through which you put a second (shorter) pick up for kicker motor line

I’ve done this more than once and have always used an in-line valve that my dealer sold me. I have a Lund 1700 Fisherman and did not run all the way back to the tank. My dealer in Rochester is Al’s Specialty and I’m sure he either has in stock, or can get for you, the valve you need. I believe the price was about $30

I have a Lund pro-v with a 150hp and a 9.9 kicker. It is T’d off back in the splashwell. Never had any problems and works great. Was that way when I bought the boat. Seperate bulbs for each motor.

Easy way to get a second line is from your tank go to a water seperating fuel filter, these usually have two in and two out ports, just hook into one in port and plug the other, this leaves you with two fuel out ports…one for each motor, and it solves a lot of dirt and water problems at the same time. Cabela’s sells the base and filter for around 30 bucks. If you want you can even put a small 1/4 turn brass valve between the filter and each motor.
