was gunned down and killed in the line of duty this morning.

God bless his soul. He was married and has kids.

What a tragedy. His family will be in our prayers.

It looks like they may have the holes who did it. Hopefully they do, and you can count on me saying a prayer for all of those who put themselves in harm’s way on a daily basis to protect our communities.

It’s a damn shame… That’s all I can say. He and his family will be in my prayers

I was a part time licensed police officer for 10 years. Working with the full timers, you really get a feel for what they go through day in and day out. Your very next call could be your last! My heart goes out to the family, and St. Paul PD who just lost a brother! My hat is off to all of our officers who give day in and day out.

Just found out that Jerry Vick was in our fantasy football league this last year! He was my brother-in-law’s partner! His son Clayton was my nephew’s partner!
Man, this is a real tragedy! It is really a small world!

I HAVE A BIG HEART FOR FAMILIES OF MURDER LOVED ONES. FOR IN 1994 MY WIFE LINDA WAS MURDERED. THE PAIN LASTS FOR YEARS AND THEN SOME, LUCKY FOR ME THE GUY WAS CAUGHT AN IS NOW IN OAK PARK HEIGHTS FOR LIFE. THIS IS WHY I FIRMLY BELIEVE IN THE DEATH SENTENCE.. YOU REALLY DON’T KNOW HOW IT FEELS UNLESS IT HAPPENS TO YOU. BLESS THE VICK FAMILY AND MAY THEY HEAL FAST.
