I have requested a draft of the proposed rules. If this goes like some in the past, there will be no draft available until they actually publish the notice in the State Registry related to publishing the rule without public hearing.
We have an inordinant amount of legislative activity targeting fishing in general. PETA decided to focus on fish late last year and this year for some ridiculous reason so I suppose we’ll have to deal with West Coast money influencing our legislators and the DNR.
This sort of regulatory change makes me paranoid… and single noid as far as that goes… cause I’m certainly a noid with the entire process haha! After reading the information you might become a noid as well.
