My girlfriend and I tried fishing Storm Lake on Thursday afternoon for a little while. Again, we didn’t catch anything but she did take some neat pictures.

This picture is a couple Canadians and their “rugrats” that had just finished swimming right over my bobber.

This one is just a view across the lake.

This one she decided to be “artistic” and started taking pictures of things in my tackle box.

This is my favorite “artistic” picture she took. I even decided to set it as my background on my desktop.

Oh God, I know I’m whipped. That’s not news to anyone who has met me and/or my better half.

At least she likes to go fishing, so I have that going for me

That’s good though! Does she like to fish is the question?

Cool pic though! I too like the one with the rattler!

Amanda is happy that you guys like her pictures. And yes, she does like to fish….I’m just afraid she’ll outfish me

One way i found to keep my wife from outfishing me was to leave her home.

My wife is good luck for me. Every time I take her fishing or hunting with me we do extremely well and it is always good to have a witness so when you tell the stories people believe you. I took her Turkey hunting with me in Iowa. In Iowa you can turkey hunt all day. We did not get to the farm until 12:30 p.m. in one hour we got two bags of mushrooms, a 26 lb turkey, and found a cut little 10lb dog that now accompanies me on fishing outings. Another time my wife went out fishing with me. She read a book, I caught 36 Smallies out on one school in just over an hour on pool 16. She still will not carry a gun, but she is starting to throw baits to bass. Funny thing too, I do not get chewed out for going fishing when she accompanies me. I dearly hope that she continues fishing and enjoys it.

My wife goes out in the boat with me on occasion, just to read a magazine and get some sun. If I want to do any serious fishing though, I have to leave her home. Otherwise, every 30 minutes it’s either “Can we go to shore, I have to go to the bathroom”, or “Can we go find a place to get some food?”. I love having her along, but sure waste a lot of gas running her around. Definitely beats not going at all though.
