New Boat

Just had my new ride out on the river today. 2004 Alumacraft Navigator 175 CS, the dealer had it left over from last year and made me an offer I just couldn’t pass up. I kept my 2002 Mercury 90hp 4-stroke and jack plate off the old boat that only has 145 hours on it. Got my Pinpoint system all hooked up, 2 Lowrance GPS units, a 4 bank Dual-Pro on board charger and air to the livewell/baitwell.
Had about 1 1/2 foot chop on the river, rode like a dream and stayed dry, what a difference in ride over a semi-vee flat.
Monday it’s off to Mark Twain to chase some crappies !

Nice rig! Looks like a good boat to fish for everything. Crappies are on at Mark Twain. I have a buddy that live close and he says they are catching good numbers. We fish Lick Creek when we go down, never have to look any farther to catch a nice bunch. Good Luck.

Congrats! You will love that boat. My son Nate is running that same boat in a 2005 model and loves it. Same color too, just different motor. A good friend of our has that boat in a tiller version and really likes it too. Very wide, lots of room and tons of features.
    Thanks, Bill

With a SS 16 pitch 3 blade prop with 3 degrees extra cup in the tips, run 37 up river and 41 down on the GPS.

Forgot to say that Mark Twain and Crappies go hand in hand this time of year. Was down there last year about two weeks later than now, Crappies were easy. Have fun. Try the bass, there are some good fish there.

I just got a 05 navigator 165cs with a 90hp yamaha 4stroke, and I am only able to get 36-38 mph gps. Maybe I need a different prop. What do you guys think?

Nice rig, is that a ROLCO trailer? Where did you get your boat from?

The trailer is a ROLCO alright, trails great, has a torsion sprung axle ( no squeaky springs ) and a DEXTER LUBE axle.

Got the rig from M+M Marine in Savana ILL. I bought my last boat there also. They are great folks to deal with and take care of you after the sale. The boys in the shop are top notch.
