Wow… I am thrilled to announce the addition of Mike Little to the EFN Pro-Staff as Assistant Marketing Director. Mike has many qualifications for the position… here is a bit about him in his own words…
Former CPA from California, worked for accounting firms as a financial and tax specialist for various companies throughout the western U.S. Moved to the Dominican Republic in 1983 to be the only U.S. CPA at Price Waterhouse there. As such, I advised U.S. citizens and residents regarding taxation and U.S. business affairs.

After a year, I left Price Waterhouse and set up a couple of offices in the Dominican Republic and worked with companies doing business in the U.S. and throughout Latin America and began installing accounting systems for various companies. I traveled extensively throughout the southern United States, and Central America, working as an advisor to companies who were financing corporate activities, and also lending or selling on credit. I’ve had extensive experience in developing cash flow projections, working through corporate business plans and actually following the plans.

Since moving to Minnesota in 1991, I’ve done a turnaround (from near bankruptcy to at least financial solvency) for a sheet metal company and formed Team Mates, Inc. The Company has grown from two embroidery heads to 33 (although we’re down to 29 right now) and has sextupled in sales in the past 10 years. We are now a national wholesaler/commercial embroiderer and have financed new additions to staff and equipment by having built an excellent relationship with our bank and primary lender.

My primary role has been as the financial accountant and manager for the company. I have installed and maintained the accounting system, developed a five year financial plan and maintained all of the tax records for the company since inception. The bank has become a strong advocate for our business and relies heavily on my own expertise in developing lending policies for our company. Thus far, we have never missed a payment or had any sort of bad credit rating since our first day.

I’m hoping to participate at EFN in the same way and help to formulate office and management policies that will allow the company and owners to achieve their financial and corporate goals as quickly as possible.

Welcome to the team Mike! I am thrilled to have you aboard .

Thanks, guys! I am really looking forward to all this. And I get to go fishing, too! It’s kinda like Christmas Eve.

The real truth is that what I’ve seen of the people here, including those of you I’ve actually met, is that it’s a wonderful thing being part of such a great bunch of folks. Hopefully, I can provide something to the growth and fortunes of EFN and I’ll be happy to help out wherever possible.

Of course, if we have to go fishing in order to discuss things, I suppose I could take notes on the water. It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it, right?
