Except for Musky and Sturgeon, the Wisconsin River is open for gamefish year round. That means Walleye, Bass and Northern can be caught and kept, if so desired, year round.
This includes both the Castle Rock and Petewell Flowages.

Just an FYI. There is a season on Catfish below the Prarrie Du Sac dam. I believe that runs the same as the regular inland gamefish season. Fish there long enough and you can tie into some big cats by accident walleye fishing this time of year. Some folks don’t know about the cafish season there and I’m sure more than one ticket has been issued to those who kept Cats during the closed season. Wardens keep a pretty close eye on things there.
