Where is this place? From my experience it could be Wabasha, Head of the Lake or the St Croix on a busy summer weekend.

I love the hydroplane blasting in front of the fishermen.

Looks like it might be the first day of trout fishing in hell. On the brighter side, it’s also a great way to meet lots of people.

This is actually a picture of a new sport that was invented in Kentucky. Its called “Who wants to snag a speed boat”

Could be Lake Zumbro. The water ski club’s boat has been known to buzz fisherman that close!

Leave out the hydroplane, and it could actually be the Russian, or Kenai River in Alaska…….when the Reds run, it looks just like this…even worse at times.

It looks very much like the Russian River during the Red run. There was a river barge that worked off the current and was hooked to ropes that would transport you across for a small fee. I fished it one time in the late 60’s and it was crowded just as bad. Tangled lines from hooked fish were one of the major problems in fishing this river. The Kenai looks similar to this in areas also.

I believe the Kenai also. The hydroplane has to be an implant on the pic cause he would be mincemeat up there.

Also reminds me of the early years of salmon snagging on Lake Michigan. What a zoo.
