I’m going to try leadcore this year and need to buy a reel. If a person had a choise between a Diawa accudepth 47 lc or a Diawa sealine Great lakes 47 lc whitch would you choise? Jim

The biggest trick is to find a high capacity reel with a good drag. A line counter is nice, but not necessary since the lead line is colored so you can tell how much line you have out just by looking at it.
I use the Accudepth since it is A. affordable. B. holds losts of line. And C. has a line counter.

Between the 2, I’d pay a little more and take the sealine.

I was up at the Oakdale Fleet Farm yesterday. Saw they had some Okuma linecounter combo’s for only $69. Not a bad deal if you want to get by cheap.

edit – sorry, I see you are in Iowa.
