What opinions do have on tracking barometric pressure and fish activity. Is there a difference in the numbers of fish caught in a specific range?

In my first year of retirement I logged 89 fishing trips as to barometer, wind direction, cloud cover, solunar table, and some other things. The only correlation I seemed to find was that a steady barometer = good fish activity, a rising barometer was not as good, and a falling barometer seemed to be a shut off. This was not scientific but that is what I found. However, having said that this past ice fishing season was hot when the fish and game activity showed it would be. Like most of the winter crappies and sunnies were most active from about 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. I know that for a fact as I fished 4 to 5 times a week all season long. On the river (spring, summer, and fall) the flow and depth were very important as to what areas to fish.
