do i dare?

i’m heading to winona on monday morning for work i thought about bringing my boat but with all the snow i’m wornding if if it would be worth it.

I’d do it! If you don’t you’ll probably end up kicking yourself!

The roads here in Red Wing are already pretty decent. You’d get the boat a little sloppy on the outside but nothing a little dip in the river wouldn’t fix.

James(or anyone), would you mind posting a road conditions report tonight for Red Wing?? I’m thinking of coming down at the crack of dawn. I can’t stay late, but figure any time on the water is better than sitting here.

Just to lety you guys know the hwys have cleared off really nice in the area. I know the roads here in our county are great and I hear the rest are just a little slushy. I’m sure they will be fine by tomorrow morning

Me personally I’m gonna wait until Monday and/or Tuesday to head down to Everts. Plus I’m gonna fish afternoon and nights instead of the morning. I’m not into the crowds plus I’m going to be the only one in my boat I think. If you see me out in the blue Princecraft say howdy

No problem with the roads here in Red Wing. They are understandably sloppy but nothing that would keep you home.

I would say bring it. I only live about 20 miles from Winona and the roads are clearning off real good. We have been below the Winona dam twice in the last 3 weeks and have had pretty darn good fishing. Nothing real big but a lot of decent fish. Going to try and get there tomorrow. Will let you know how we do if we get out.

Sure hope to. Depends on the work situation. Won’t be able to make it today. Wife cornered me on stuff I’ve been promising to get done for about 3 months. I’ll get hold of you for sure if I can get out. Odds are good for thursday or friday. Maybe tomorrow if too much snow piled up to work.
