my boy and i are talking about going to flordia next march. does anyone know of some good guides and fishing spots down there? would like to fish red fish and what ever is handy.

I was stationed in Jacksonville for 3 years. I know a few fellas down there who might be able to point you in the right direction. As stated, check out the florida sportsman website..they have an awsome forum, and are really helpful there. Tell them “FilletNRelease” said Hi.
If you’re looking to go to Southwest Florida, the Naples/Marco Island Fl area, I have a contact for you. Depending on when in March you are going, you may be able to cast plugs for Tarpon or live bait fish for Tarpon. Snook fishing can get really good that time of year also. It just depends on what you want to do. Redfish are fun, but there is nothing on earth like Tarpon.
