A local cabinet maker, in Farmington, MN, is looking to get rid of large quantities of saw dust (approximately 4 yrds/week). If anyone is interested or knows someone who is interested, please let me know.

An idea of what to do with it is the local 4-h and other championships with farm animals. They used to take sawdust and die it diffrent colors. The owners of these championship animals would buy it by the sack and put it in the bottom of pens, mixing diffrent colors too show off thier animals. After the shows it makes it easier to clean up after the animal. Someone looking for a small business to get into might want to do this, there is a call for this.

I would recommend getting ahold of local horse people. They use sawdust for stall bedding.

If you use any walnut, It would have to be kept seperate. Walnut dust & shavings can be harmful bedding for some animals because of the toxic oils in walnut.
