Which Lowrance products would you buy for your boat if you got a really good deal on two units . I am looking to buy a locator for the bow, and a gps/locator for the console. I will be putting them on a bass boat, so what type of cone, power, etc., should I look for. Any opions out there of what would be the best units for my money? I am looking at going with the color units though.

Any of the color depth finders with gps/mmc capability. I have the now discontinued LMS-330C and am eyeing the LMS-332C. One on the bow and one on the console.

I just ordered from Wade the LMS 332c and the LCX-26c for my new boat. Going to the ‘walleye wars’ with the lastest technology this season and I can hardly wait!

The answer may vary depending on how much money you are willing to spend. The top of the line combo is the LCX-111C HD or the LCX-110C. The only difference between the two is the hard drive. Next would come the LCX-26C HD or the LCX-25C. Third choice in a combo would be the LMS-332C. You don’t need dual frequency, just the straight 200khz, 20 degree transducer that comes standard (Lowrance sometimes calls it a 60 degree but it’s a 20).

On the bow, you could go with the X102C for sonar only, or the LMS-332C if you want to have GPS capability on the bow as well.
