    Who’s fishing it next weekend?

Seriously considering trying this event out. Been awhile since I’ve competed in a Walrye event. Those fish down dere bite for a Musky guy?

Gary’s a muskie guy and they seem to cooperate for him OK. We’ve got about a dozen pre-registered teams with a bunch more just waiting to make sure the weather isn’t arctic. The weather looks good so we should have a good turn out. Hope to see you there!

    Hey NUT!!!

Yea, I get suckered into chasing the eyes in the spring when the big fish are laying low.

Still can’t be convinced into bass fishing though!!!!!

Gary c’mon down and see me. I’ll wager I can bring the “Dark Side” out of you. Especially in the fall.

As it is, it looks like I’ll be fishing a few of these Walleye tourneys too.

Yeah, all you “walleye guys” say that until you get into a school of jumpin’ Smallies. Then it’s hoots and hollers for hours….

I will give a smallie a little more credit than a grass carp. Heck, I would even give the smallie a little credit……..

I have to admit, Smallies are much more entertaining to fish than LM Bass. UNLESS you get on a school of LM Bass in slop and they are eating slop frogs like piranha.

Well Blue, maybe we have to swap a day of smallie fishing and muskie fishing. You can try to convince me to come to the dark side, but the force is strong in this one.

Better be carefull! A good day of ski fishing has been known to curse even the stongest bass fisherman!!!!!!

You don’t have to tell me about those magnum toothy critters. I had a run in with one last year on Mille Lacs. I can’t wait to see how big she got this year. Not to mention, see if she is still chewing on my topwater bait.

Looks like “nut” and I are fishing next weekends tourney.

We’ll be the two guys with the 8′ heavy action muskie rods who don’t look like they have a clue what they are doing.

Hopefully we’ll snap a few eye

I better go watch my IDA plastics for river ‘eye video

Those heavy rods would work just fine for pulling heavy 3 ways.

    See ya’ there.
