Sgt Rock…by the sound of your post, you have sought help in the past…there is hope for you! You’ve recognize what your soul mate is upto with your son!

You maybe one of the heathiest fisherpeople on this board!

You may want to help Putz, as he still is clueless (the worst case of denial I’ve seen in years). Although it’s not uncommon for these to happen when a victim…er person eat large amounts of lutefisk. It’s more common in those folks that make thier own lut. The research points to not cleaning out the bath tub and/or not getting enough lye out of the fish before consuming it.

But all is not lost, Son of Putz is trying to get him back to reality by taking a poke at him on the board once in a while…(way to go! )

    Sorry Clarence… about your brother I mean…..

Yup Sal is a pro at knowing what you are talking about. She out fishes her husband every time they go out. And that is nearly every day during the week. She has her own rods reals and tacklebox. She know what she is doing.
    Good going Sal

I was wondering why she gave me the go ahead to get any trolling motor and locators I wanted. Come to think of it two weeks ago on the way to Hurley she even encouraged me to stop at the St. Croix rod factory and buy poles.

What can I do now, or is already too late!

Aaahh, Brian. Ignorance is bliss. Even if the sky in your world is a different color than mine (violet with purple haze), I can take the magic carpet ride with the white rabbit and magic dragon to find Mother’s little helpers and be one toke over the line again. Clueless indeed!

    Gimme some advice on that!

Well I don’t know about healthiest but I can say I’m one of the happiest. She’s working fulltime so I can be Mr.Mom. Although she does mumble about me getting a job again as soon as I’m done remodeling on the house. Just no pleasing them.

Umm Putz? I’ll be referring you to a good friend I know in the Outdoor Gear Forum. The last thing that you need to worry about right now is your wife out fishing you…..

soP…keep an eye on him will you?

90% I believe asking my wife to marry me was the best thing I’ve ever done…and I hope and pray that it will be this 90% that carries HER through the other 10%.

A toast…to all the women that go fishing with thier spouses…wheather they want to or not!

Nice pic, Brian. All b.s. aside, it’s great to have a gal that supports our fishing habits and even joins us sometimes. It also helps that they love the fish we fry for them.

    SALUTE!

Karen’s been my fishing partner for the past 10 years and I hope many more to come…… There’s nothing better then when she’s catching fish, kinda like that super hero feeling you get after taking kids on a successful catching day…… Here she is with a 22 incher from pool 4. It’s amazing how few women we see when fishing around the state. Why do I make that statement? Because it’s always a monumental moment when we see another lady out on the water. Is it because few women are interested in fishing or few men are interested in introducing and teaching them. There are so many benefits to having a female fishing partner but I better not go there…… Oh for the stories……… Kurt

OKAY, when you’re fishing by yourself you can work on being a great fisherman; when you have others in your boat, you have to work on being a good guide.

So let’s consider what makes a good guide.

Catching more and/or bigger fish than the passengers?

    . . . or . . .

Getting the passengers to catch more and/or bigger fish?

I’m GEG and whenever my wife is in the boat, I’m a GREAT GUIDE!

Putzkid? Do you find him home alone in the afternoons playing the Sgt Pepper album, walking around the house with a daisy behind his ear…often?

No Sgt. Pepper crap for me. Led Zepplin, Stepenwolf, Creedence, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Barry Manilow, etc. for me.

Boys, we have really trashed this thread. We better cut it out before they kick us off the forum.

Yes. Dressed in a Nero suit. Not pretty.

Sorry for hijacking this thread, but my dad’s flashbacks to the days when he might have been actually cool…….well, just too hard to resist.

Not as bad as getting caught in a beaver trap. You know what I mean, Herb.

I’ll just call it ‘part of being a river rat’, and leave it at that.
