My heart is with Junior. But I think a dodge could do it. Maybe even Petty would,nt that be something

I agree with the Jr part. I would even like to see Kenseth win it. But Petty is a heck of a long shot I don’t like to say it but I believe it will be Gordon with Hendricks. They do have alot of time and money stuck in restricter plate racing to try and catch D.E.I

I’m picking whoever is leading after the last pit stop. NASCAR has ruined the superspeedways with the restrictor plates. It’s gone from the best driver to whoever is leading with 20 laps to go. Passing only happens from 2nd place on back.

They need to remove the restrictor plates and let them run!!!

I gotta agree with FJ if the Bud Shootout was any indication. The only way to pass the leader is if a couple of bad fast team mates (Hendrick “robots”) team up on the leader and hang him out. If Stewart and Harvick or somebody like that with a fast car would work together, they could pull it off but I’m afraid no one will stick together well enough to beat those guys. Lots of people seem to be in total denial of this, but I don’t think DEI has the steam right now to pull it off, and I don’t think (by the tone of Jr’s comments after qualifying) that they are sandbagging. Maybe DJ and Biffle could work together to get a Ford in Victory Lane, but again they’re going to have to stay dedicated to beat the Hendrick machine… (wish I knew that much about finding big walleyes!)

Jr. will probably not run as hard as he normally would because he don’t want to loose that car for the rest of the year. I am going to have to say dodge or ford.

If Rudd can stay in the draft, he has a good shot this year with the Wood Brothers team.

Yes the 500 is boring…. just removing the restrickor Plate’s is not the answer, the last time they tested at the Speedway without the plates they were running 238 mph thats fast and you can not have 43 cars on the track with these speeds.
They need to reduce the feilds, 43 cars is way to many.

Oh…DEI drivers will lead 499 of the first 500 laps but on the last lap Tony Stewart will bump Jeff Gordon and Michael Waltrip and WIN the 500….
