Diamond Lake

    Has anybody been out on Diamond Lake between Champlin and Rogers? I have been seeing 6-10 houses out there lately. I looked up the lake at the DNR website and the last survey in 1992 showed only bullheads, but upon further review I saw the DNR stocked 581,000 walleye fry in 2001. So I dropped them an email. They replied and said there still is some walleye in there(no exact numbers or why they stocked an 8 foot deep lake). Does any one know if this was being used as a holding pond and there is just a few left behind? Anyhow was just wondering if anyone had been out there catching these now 12-14 inch walleye?

    I too was suprized to see that many people out there. I was told that they are catching the stocked walleye about 12″ long.
