I have OE6 on my newer Dell. I have Windows XP. My OE does not have spell check. I have Word-perfect on the XP. How can I get the spell check on the OE? $1500 and no spell check on e-mail??
I tried to call Dell but I don’t speak Arabic..

    Thanks!!

You can go into options and select a the spelling tab, and select teh chekc speling button before sending emaail. Sorry couldn’t resist the spelling.

    Derek,
I am not a computer guy so I do not know the answer to your question but one thing you could do is write your e-mails in Word-perfect and use the spell check in word then cut and paste into your e-mail, this is what I do with allot of my posts here on IDA. Another thing you could do is open a Yahoo Mail Account, I use the free one and it has a good spell check.

Go to http://www.iespell.com and they have a neat spell checker that fits on the tool bar and is free. It’s great for checking the spelling when a person posts on a forum with no spell check.

CC is right about the free iespelcheck. I do not believe that you can enable spell check in OE unless you also have Outlook.

rmartin is correct. you need to have outlook running to get OE to spell check, they rely on files that outlook has. you can get yourself microsoft office and use word to type emails and do what steve does. I would say download the freebee and call it good.
