I just became a new member. My name is Kraig and I will tell you a little about myself. Married with 2 kids ages 15 & 13. The whole family loves to goose hunt and fish. We just purchased our first boat last week ’91 Alumacraft Dominator and we are getting itchy to use it. Already have vacation planned for Memorial weekend in Northern WI.

We live in Tripoli, IA. I’m a CNC Machinist and work at Omega Cabinets in Waterloo. Hope to learn alot from this site and have already been doing alot of reading. And hopefully meet some of you on the water.

Welcome Kraig. This is a great website for fishing and shooting the bull. I never miss a chance to fish with someone from this site, they’ve all been first-rate (translation: will you teach us how to catch pike on sweet marsh?)

Welcome to IDA Kraig and family!

I’ve been taught more about fishing in the last two plus years here than I knew in 40 years of fishing!

Great people, great information all because of people like you registering and being willing to share info!

    Again, Welcome aboard!

I will try to teach how to catch some pike on sweets. The south end used to be the best until they drained it.

Ryan, I don’t have a favorite IA team, I mostly cheer for both until they play each other, then it’s time and have fun watching

Welcome to the best site on the internet Kraig. I’ve learned more about fishing and diferent fishing areas from this site than I picked up in the rest of my life. Last summer I wanted to learn and fish pool 9. I ask about pool 9 and one of the guys showed me his spots and how to fish them. He even let me use his truck for 4 days to put my boat in the water. This site is full of people like that. Most of us visit the site a couple times a day to make sure we don’t miss anything.

I have been seen fishing the Prairie du Chien occasionally, great area. Iowas own BFD, also a regular on this site and quite possibly the best green sunfish guide in the state, knows that area well. Ask him for advice, He’s happy to help
