I have a life changing decision to make…

I’ve suspected for some time that my wife has been having an affair. Maybe you didn’t even know I was married. There are the usual signs. Phone rings, I answer, someone hangs up. She started going out “with the girls” a lot recently although when I ask which girls, it’s always “just some friends from work, you don’t know them”.

I always look for her ride coming home but she always walks from around the corner, I can usually hear a car driving off as she walks toward the house. If it really is a taxi why not just get dropped off in front? I once picked up her cell phone just to see what time it was and she went berserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again, and why I was checking up on her.

Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my wife. I think deep down I just didn’t want to know the truth but last night she went out again and I decided to check on her. I decided I was going to hide behind my boat which would give me a view of the whole street so I could see which car she was getting out of. It was while I was lying beside my boat that I noticed rust on one of the bolts on the transom that secures the outboard.

Should I take it back to the dealer for replacement or should I just take the opportunity to buy the titanium bolts that I have always wanted? It’s a big decision so I thought I would ask for your advice. Maybe I’ll just try and buff off the rust? I am very stressed about this rust. Please help.

    Thanks

Thank you. It hasn’t been the greatest of mornings and I needed a little humor to turn things around.

You may want to to go with stainless to keep the price down.

I think I have the solution for two of your problems.

Go with “light rustic” kitchen cabnets. This should save you enough money to buy the Titanium bolts and make your wife happy enough to call you “hun”…and you know what that means. MO FISHEN!

If you get rid of the wife you can get brand new bolts….. on a brand new trailer holding a brand new boat taking brand new friends from work out fishing.
See thats why getting hitched to and ugly woman is not a bad idea.

Maybe he should be taking her friends out in the boat they sound like they are all set up for fun already.

    D,

Stranger things have happened to people who fish all night all summer.

Being we are sharing stories. I came home the other day and my wife greeted me very sexy and wearing these sexy lingerie and she had two velvet ropes and said tie me up and you can do anything you want. So I tied her up and went fishing.

I was really looking forward to reading the responses to this one. I’ve read some pretty crazy posts on here, but man…..you really had me going. Go with stainless, they’re cheaper and hire a PI so you have more time on the water. You’ll never see a rusty bolt when the boat is in the water. Great Post!

It sounds like you got worrying about marriage figured out. I always keep mine filled and wash it good too keep it running right. Once in awhile a tuneup is in need just too keep it from stalling or drifting. Always keep an anchor around for for those deep water trips. lol

    yeah dirk,

I was sitting there thinking of my duck hunting partner. he was going through the first part of your post to a T and was trying to remember what the heck I told him when we where out duck hunting the 3 times together this last year. and then I remembered and it had nothing to do with the transom bolts. but good story, had me going then busting a gut at the end.

The best part about jokes like this one is that I work in two elementary schools and the employees are 99% women. When they start ganging up on me I throw one of these out to them. It usually quiets them for a little while anyway

Wow, that was good. I was feeling so bad for you while reading the story. If that ever does happen, she is for sure cheating on you, and you may need to kick up the romance a little!!

    Stainless bolts for the boat…..
    AND
    Concrete shoes for the wife.
