On pool 4

I was just wondering when or if the lake ever out fishes the river?We have never made it down to the lake yet,this will be our third year up ,and I don’t believe we even touched 60% of the river yet .So are we missing anything by not heading to the lake.Oh we come up the first week in August,thanks Tom

I think in the first week of August you are missing out on plenty of good fishing by not hitting the lake. There are plenty of times in the year when the lake will outfish the river. During the heat of the summer I’ll take the lake hands down for the big girls. Both the river and the lake have their endearing qualities so to ignore either is not a smart choice.
