Lokking for a place to fish for walleye on the river preferably, maybe a good lake(have no luck lake fishing, and love the river fish)thinking on the miss around Red Wing. Is there any resorts right on the river to stay at in a good walleye are in the mid to late july time frame.

The IDA get together should be in that time frame, and would be a great chance to meet and swap info, stories, and what have you with many from the site! It will be out of Everts, so you may want to book a cabin early! I am really hoping to make it this year. It really is a great time!
Dont forget pool 2 at that time also. Pool 2 is all catch and release but the catching part at that time of year can be outstanding. Just keep a eye on the reports. Pool 2 is just like most other pools on the river. If you get out during the week you should have most spots to your self. On weekends and evenings expect a few cruisers to contend with.
