Lake Pepin Ice

I was just wondering if anybody out here fishes on lake pepin on the ice. With all the great fishing there is in that lake i would think it would be the same way for ice fishing. If anybody that fishes there wouldn’t mind letting me know the general area that they fish and what to use that would be great. Im just kind of curious if anybody fishes it and would like to try it myself and just want to get a start. If anybody does let me know how you have been doing lately.

theres ice,fished it last year caught two very small sauger,and i’m pretty sure its pretty slow.

Is there anybody out here that has ever fished lake pepin on the ice. I just wanted to try and get a head start on were to try and fish. Any suggestions would help even if they are from the past.

I’ve fished the Frontnac area a few times over the year and the fishing is usually hit or miss. Sometimes more miss. Remember that the ice on the river isn’t the same thickness as on the lakes so make sure you exercise some caution.
