MS sure does love to control computers.
I think I’ll wait and let other folks try those freebies out fist.

I went and looked at it on the MS website. It’s a BETA version yet. I’m with you. I’ll hold out until I hear pc’s aren’t melting down after the download.

Their Anti-virus will be no more effective than Symantec, McAfee, Inoculate, or anything else on the market…….Like James said, they just want the money from sales….

MS has learned well from the auto industry and others. Don’t design a product that’s too dependable – there is too much money to be made after the sale.

Microsoft blows and always will. For antivirus software use Panda Antivirus!!!! For browser use Mozilla’s Firefox!!!

We just got done paying MS over $3 per minute for help with the office computor. After spending about $50 with them they told us to call Dell.

Hey thanks for the welcome. I was turned onto this site by my step-father. He posts on here as Joe K. I look forward to reading more posts. Don’t think I will post anything on my own. I moved from Iowa out to Montana last year. Not much for walleyes on this side of the Rockies… I am planning a trip to Fort Peck for some ice fishing later this winter as well as this spring. Anyway…

Let us know how you do ice fishing. There has to be some water somewhere out there. If not then you will have to make some trips to Iowa to have your Dad take you fishing. Tons of water in Minnesota too. Thanks, Bill
