I try to never forget how fortunate I am… I live in a beautiful area… and there is a lot of wildlife that comes through right here… I never know what I will see outside my window… a number of these wildlife shots were taken right outside my window…. like this one for instance….
(PS…. the falls I shot is located in Osceola Wisconsin.. just across the St Croix River… its right downtown… you just have to look into the huge ravine and you will see and hear it.. there are stairs leading right down to the falls….. its really a unique and pretty much unknown spot…..)

I can’t believe the clarity and color of the shots with moving targets. You can’t be moving the camera with the target or the background would be blurred. Is this the speed of the film plus the talent of the shooter or? I would love to shoot art like this.

Are the eagle shots from you window as well? I plan on adding the falls to my must see list for my trips next year. We’ll have to figure out how to get there when the time comes.

I have looked out my skylights and seen Eagles soaring just overhead… but Ive never got any decent pix of them… this eagle was enjoying the hospitality of some Ice fishermen on a small western wisconsin lake.. they said he is almost tame… Id say that was an exageration (but hey, they were FISHERMEN!)… I couldnt get closer than about 40 feet but if you stood still and were by the “bait”.. he’d come pretty close…..
