    Mine is from the comic book character and is a name that stuck years ago when in the Air Force and “lived closer to the edge”. The wife says I don’t have enough life insurance for that kinda stuff now.

    Dad’s favorite actor was Gary Cooper………..Hence, when I was born…….I got the name Gary………..

    I’m only 33………..who the heck is Gary Cooper?????
    I bet some of the “old farts” know!!!

    However, when I joined the site, I left out my nicknames ( G-, Big G-, G-spot, Spot, Big Gar ) and just signed up as Gary.
