hey dman, ya i haven’t but with not do many lutfisk recepies, blatz beers and extreem cookies that granmothers would taste good. gotta be some real traditions recipies to think or worry about. But as i remember ham hocks and home made noodles were a stomach full to go out all day in the cold an just start to get hungry again just befor coming home, must have been something in thier biscuts. They had the touch.

Hey Dman, i know what your saying but you put a few or the right guys in a tavern talking about curing blood for blood wurts to the best recipes you hear some really great stories. Darn everts is getting close and it would be nice to be up thier about the sametime with lots of fresh bait and lots of stories. Does everts cary and blatz or grainbelt, just kidding, the premium brands would be nice.

Man my mind must be slipping, I don’t remember putting up that post talking to dman. Someones looking over me or im just pulling a sever mind blank. Maybe a grainbelt and i didn’t mind a grainbelt so much eigther it was halfway decent, better than green beer that wasen’t aged long enough. Someone had to put the entry in for me who did it? Now im looking for the man above looking down on me saying have you done everything right my son. This leads me to a story i’ve just got to tell you guys now. My cousin Gary who always went to church with his wife , except when the geese were in big numbers where he hunted were around he stay home for the geese. One morning , on a sunday too, he was up befor dawn and getting his gear in the car and loaded his lab. He took his 1000 auto remington on the final trip to the car and opened the door and he heard someone say hey buddy can you help me. Here he is standing beside the car knowing he’s suppose to be in church and lives way out in the tulies, he looked around to the side of the garage and didn’t see anybody, and this really gave him the willies then. He thought for a minute and it got more serious and thought is this the lord telling me church is more important that going hunting for geese. He said he got really scared and didn’t know what to do. He said he’s never been this scared befor. He thought man is it my time to hit the haywagon to heaven, he told me he was really scared, he thought for sure it was time to go. He didn’t know what to do and walked back to the side of the garage under the eve of the house hiding with his back to the garage and just stood there and tried to collect his thoughts on what just happened. Then he heard the voice again hey buddy can you help me, he said he just about lost it and almost screamed from fright and thought about running into the house but he thought the lord wouldn’t like it if he ran into the house because the lord could see him there. Then the voice called out to him again and he thought he’d walk out into the gravel drive and look up and say lord what did i do wrong. When he finially did he looookd up in the sky to talk to the lord and there was a hot air ballon just above the tree tops in his front yard by his driveway. He said he was never so glad so see that ballon and the guy asked again can you help me and Gary with extreem pleasure said what do you need help with and he said i’ve got to throw you a rope so i don’t drift anyfarther, i’ve run out of propane. Gary said he was never so glad too see that balllon and grab that rope and help the guy get his ballon down. I heard this and its one of the best i’ve ever heard. If you knew my cousin Gary you’de be on the ground rolling with laughter. He thought for sure that that day he was going to heaven!

Nothing worse that going hunting/fishing when you know you should be somewhere else! Good story MD.

You know the golfer that gets a hole in one after he called in sick to work?

I went fishing with my dad and didn’t tell my wife..because she had a list (when don’t they? ) I hooked into a 22lbs carp…no big deal right…except it was on a 6 wt fly rod with a 3 lb test tippet.

1/2 hour fight..which was so fun, I had tears running down my cheeks from laughing so hard.

When I got home I couldn’t tell her about it or anyone else while she was around…

Someone was trying to tell me something.

Im making bacon right now with a lid on the skillet, then chopped red potatoes, sunny side up eggs with wheat toast and real wisc. butter.
