Shooting Laws in MN

    Is it legal to go out on Friday and sight in a gun in MN or is it like WI, where the day before deer season you aren’t allowed to shoot?

    Actually, If I am not mistaking….
    In Wisconsin..
    -you can sight in the day before at designated ranges (but why wait until the last minute?)
    -Also, you are allowed to hunt waterfowl the day before

    Just wanted to clear that up.

    Don’t know about Minnesota though!

    I believe the MN law reads, you may not be outdoors with a firearm and ammunition, which would include shooting, 5 days before and 2 days after the season for watever area you are in. You can use gun ranges.
